NOTE* Pellet burners are all on backorder until further notice, thank you* The pellet burner attachment allows you to burn wood pellets as well as regular firewood. The benefits of burning pellets include; instant fuel, clean burning, virtually no smoke, no gathering firewood or cutting wood, a constant fuel supply, and consistent continual burning (especially valuable at night). The hopper will hold 40 lbs. of pellets and will burn for approximately 12 hours before needing refill. You can dump a whole bag in at a time, leaving no partially filled bags laying around to spill. The pellet burner is self-operating, with no complicated parts or electronics. It functions entirely on gravity flow, as the pellets in the chamber are burned up, more flow down the tube. The rate of burn is adjusted by sliding the shuttle that controls how many pellets can flow down into the burn chamber. The pellet burner can be completely shut off by sliding the shuttle forward, closing off the pellet supply and pushing the burning pellets out of the burn chamber into the stove, and by closing the door on the back of the pellet burner which shuts off the air supply. The stove can then be used to burn wood as normal. When you want to burn pellets again just open the door on the back and adjust the shuttle to allow pellets to slide down into the burn chamber. If you order any stove and a pellet burner kit online, then we will precut the necessary hole in the back of your stove. If you already own a Cylinder Stove and would like to purchase a pellet burner kit, we will include an instruction sheet as well as a cutting template which will allow you to install the pellet burner kit yourself. |
