Reviewed by all season hunter on 1/11/13Have been using this tent for 3 years, easy for 1 person to set up, holds up to all weather( with rain fly)! Only con, you have to carry something to put under stove to keep from burning holes in the tent floor, needs a zip out area for the stove.

What is the difference in a spike and range tent?

The only difference in a spike and range tent is the sidewall height. They both are fast and easy to set up. They both offer light frames for packing in on horse if needed. The range tent is frequently called a pyramid tent.
